My company started 20 years ago from a small one bedroom apartment in Southern California, but the story began decades before. At a young age I wanted to create and craft anything I could get my hands on. I grew up learning how to be thrifty, so turning old things into new things became something I loved to do.

Many years later my love for creativity, fueled my passion and ignited my dream to create daily as I wanted to offer self expression, love and fun through my creations. And thus, Shrake Culture was born!

Over the years I've experienced many stages and phases within my business from hiring every girl friend I had to help fill orders, working 30 hour stretches, weeks to months without taking a day off. I got to learn the ins and outs of business while creating for a wholesale market, which lead to selling to over 90 stores nationwide. As the market and trends shifted in every direction imaginable, I got to experience the joys of traveling the world in exploration of new inventory to stay current in those trends. All of these experience's have molded, shaped and created strength behind my business, which I pass on through my creations.

My signature style is to create things that are different, unique and bold; from big, chunky, statement stand alone's to the layering of a sexy five stack of daintier pieces. I work with tons of vintage, mixing it with current ideas and styles to offer fresh new trends that stay in a category of there own, on top of the ever changing market place.

I want there to be something in my collections that every women has fun connecting with. Either because it allows them to express themselves in a way that is excitingly bold and beautiful OR subtle and quiet; empowering them to courageously step out of their old and try something new in their day to day style. After all, jewelry is a way to express who you are to the world without saying a thing.

My husband and I have recently relocated to Fort Worth Texas, where we live with our four beautiful children, eight and under. Family makes my world go round and keeps me on my toes, which also allows me to appreciate the great blessing that is my business.
